Founders Corner

My name is Gloria Stephens, founder of Disabled With Dignity LLC, a business grounded in lived experience, professional expertise, and an unwavering commitment to equity and access.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Services with a specialization in Children and Families. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Human Services with a specialization in Prevention, Intervention, and Advocacy.

As a disabled individual, I have personally experienced the systemic barriers that make navigating healthcare, education, and public life incredibly difficult for people with disabilities. These experiences have shaped not only my academic and professional path, but the very foundation of this business.

Disabled With Dignity LLC was created to meet a pressing need — to provide real solutions, support, and advocacy for individuals facing the daily realities of inaccessibility, exclusion, and ableism. Whether it’s consulting, education, or helping someone access essential equipment or services, my work is rooted in both compassion, accountability, and ACTIONS.

My mission is simple:
To affirm the worth, visibility, and humanity of disabled people — boldly and unapologetically.
